On Thursday the 13th of November, 23 Key Stage 2 students attended a cross country event at North Walsham rugby club. The event was part of the SSP (School Sports Partnership) school games. Over 350 children turned up from at least 10 different schools for the races. This year we did incredibly well as we got many individuals into the finals which are to be held in March. We also walked away with two medals, one gold and one bronze. This was an SB (school best!) for Dussindale. Everyone ran incredibly well, especially if it was their first time, and everyone did their school proud no matter where they came.
Even though it was a bit cold, nobody minded and everyone could agree the atmosphere was amazing even if we weren't the best school there! Good sportsmanship was required here and it was applied appropriately. It's fair to say though if we keep being as good as we were we will give the other schools a run for their money!
